Greygore Boomhowler and Co

Did these as a commission for a friend.

Goreshade the Based

Put some epic basing together for the Bastard and did a little more work on the GS.  He's getting closer . . .

Goreshade the Bastard

I'm a fan of the Bastard, what can I say?  People tell me he sucks, that he's not competitive - I don't care.  I'm amused that he constantly shows up in various storylines and screws things up for everyone.

And I LOVE his artwork

However, the model itself doesn't look like the artwork at all

So, in my everlasting quest to make OK models into great models (ok, for an everlasting quest, it sure goes on hiatus every now and then), I have attempted to make the model match the art.

Behold!

Lastly, the back of the cloak - which is a bit blobby and will take a little more work to smooth out

Khador Board #2 finished

Finally completed the most ambitious board I've built to date!  As you can see, I did a lot of water effects (two different kinds - one that required mixing and the other was pourable out of the bottle), and had to build trees as well.  This one will be fun to play on for both Warmahordes and LotR

Cemetary Hill finished

Finally got around to taking pics of the finished Cemetary Hill board.  The scenery that will fill this board is found HERE

More Khador Boards and Scenery

A couple test pieces for Khador board #1.  The 'snow' is just drybrushed white paint, but I think it will suffice and also serve to break up the non-stop white of the board.

Here are some more pieces on the way. . .

Also, I took an ambitious step towards starting another Khador board.  This one will be a woodsy, mountainous scene.  Not all the pieces have been glued down yet.  The sections where the hardboard is exposed will be water.

The beginnings of Cemetary Hill

I was crushing through through boards and scenery this weekend and have a ton of stuff to show for it (and breathing room for the Crucible).

Here's the beginning of the next 'Cryx' board - Cemetary Hill

This board will make use of all the cemetary scenery I've been making lately

And here's a swamp for the other Cryx board.  I've never used water effects until this project, so I wanted to do a one-off to see how it turned out.  Needs some foliage. . .

Whistling Past the Cemetery

I got my hands on my buddy's Garden of Morr and was inspired to do a cemetery table.

The detail on this kit is insane!

I also took one of the old GW cemeteries and gave it some extra love.  They come basically airbrushed gray with green static grass, so I just made the earth and wood elements brown and painted up some rusty metal.

Now I've got to build a board to match the scenery!
